I hope you all recovered from a wonderful holiday season.  I’ve been posting some new owl necklaces and bird gifts the last two weeks.  I have a few more owl necklaces that will be posted this week as well.  Instead of blogging or taking pictures this week, I’ve been obsessed with a new book this week… Has anyone heard of Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins?  I highly recommend Hunger Games to anyone that is looking for an excellent read.  The book has captured my attention and I am not able to focus until I read just one more page.

Dear Owl Necklaces Fans,
I will be adding several new necklaces this winter. My first set will be related to love I was reminded that Valentine’s day is right around the corner as I went to Target this weekend and was bombarded with pink and hearts as I walked through the door. It is amazing how fast time flies. Anyway… keep your eyes out for some new owl necklaces and owl pendants. I will be posting them shorty!

Happy New Year from Owl Necklaces!  I hope everyone had a fun and safe new years celebration.  I wanted to let everyone know of my plans for Owl Necklaces in 2012.  I have decided to support more local and good causes this year.  My first event will be “Fight For Air Climb” which is a unique way to contribute to the American Lung Association.  I will be climbing with a team of local people from the Naperville area trying to raise over $1000 for the team.  I will be climbing  31 flights of stairs or 680 steps to the top of the tallest building in the Chicagolands suburbs.  I’m excited to participate in this excellent climb and fund raise for The American Lung Association.  Please let me know anyone would like additional information about this event or Owl Necklaces.
