I hope you all recovered from a wonderful holiday season.  I’ve been posting some new owl necklaces and bird gifts the last two weeks.  I have a few more owl necklaces that will be posted this week as well.  Instead of blogging or taking pictures this week, I’ve been obsessed with a new book this week… Has anyone heard of Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins?  I highly recommend Hunger Games to anyone that is looking for an excellent read.  The book has captured my attention and I am not able to focus until I read just one more page.

I tried taking a few improved owl necklace pictures of my three new owl pendants. I will continue to try and take more realistic pictures but am still learning

I just added another new owl to my owl necklace 2011 collection!  Her name is Owl-Live the Owl!

Owl-live the Owl is thinking at the moment. She closed her eyes to day dream for just a second….

Owl-live is a light grey owl that is wire wrapped to a gunmetal chain (lengths of either 15 inch, 16 inch, or 18 inches). Please specify the length that you want for your grey owl necklace or I will send a 16 inch chain.

Dear Owl Necklaces Fans,

It is a very small world out there!  Because of Facebook I have been reunited with several friends from middle and high school.  Recently an old friend wrote me the following e-mail:

I was just given one of your necklaces. I  wore it last weekend – it’s beautiful!  Your jewelry is making it’s way around the world. I get many, many compliments on my necklace.

This blog is really changing… I like to blog about owl necklaces and owl gifts but today I am going to tell you a little more about my personal life.  I just completed my first relay triathlon.  I’m posting a few pictures from this great day.
